Iain has extensive experience of designing complex projects characterised by the transformative impact of new technologies on building, cities and their infrastructure. With over 30 years of designing data centers and networks for corporations such as BT, Colt, Google, Lumen, Oracle and Telehouse.He has masterplanned nuclear complexes such as Hinckley Point C and Moorside and is currently working on SMRs and next generation Super Tall Data Centers. Previously Professor at ArtEZ University Arnhem, Head of Architecture at NTU and director of a FTSE listed design practice, he is currently a member of ANPEG at MIT. With a focus on New Industrial Urbanism and Co-Existence with Machines, his approach to design blends cutting edge engineering with the methodologies of the arts. A graduate of University of Glasgow and Domus Academy Milan, Iain is a registered architect in the UK, Netherlands and Switzerland.
