Building blocks of an Effective Security Programme
Organisations small to large struggle with the same idea, how to embed security by design and by default – in a way that actually changes behaviour. Throughout my long career I have seen time again organisations attempt to address this concern, without the foundations and ineffective metrics, causing failure before they’ve even begun. Within large organisations the sheer amount of legacy infrastructure and disjoined teams leads to multiple approaches, and limited collaboration. Whereas small to medium organisations simply do not have the resources to handle a large scale improvements programme. This talk will begin to address ways organisations can start the conversations with intelligent design, effective metrics, realistic goals, and continuous improvements whatever the size of programme you start with.
