  • Risbridger Overfill Prevention Valves

    27 Oct 2017 PFS Fueltec

Risbriders’s UK manufactured fail safe 2" and 3" overfill prevention valves will be being displayed at this year’s exhibition.

These well proven valves have been fitted by our major tank builders for over a decade now, precision built they offer the end user peace of mind as the failsafe feature prevents a delivery driver delivering fuel to a tank if the valve is faulty. The 3” version also offers the facility to test the operation periodically while the delivery driver is filling the tank. Historically overfill prevention valves are not periodically serviced as they should be so this failsafe system will prevent deliveries if faulty but this is better than over filling a tank.

Other advantages of this range of valves is that the valve cores can be removed for servicing without stripping off any pipe work, they have no dynamic seals and act as anti-siphon valves due to them being a normally closed valve.

Suitable for diesel and biodiesel/FAME blends of fuel make these the right choice for today and the future.
