SPAL’s Super-Efficient Cooling Solutions for Stationary Applications
)
SPAL is happy to be joining other first-time exhibitors for Data Centre World, dedicated to the digital infrastructure supporting the systems which host, manage, and deliver critical business data and cloud solutions to workforces worldwide.
SPAL high-performance fans, blowers and water pumps, incorporating advanced brushless technology, are well known for thermal management in moving applications such as electric battery vehicles but are increasingly in demand for stationary applications including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and data centres.
In an era ruled by data, data centres are at the heart of business operations. However, the efficiency of these infrastructures largely depends on maintaining their temperature within specific ranges. This is where the fans and cooling pumps come into play.
SPAL’s range of brushless DC fans and cooling pumps offer powerful cooling along with greater energy efficiency which contributes to lower running costs for data centre operators, but also reduced emissions.
Brushless DC low voltage fans, currently available in 12V, 24V and 48V range from 50W up to 2kW offering state-of-the-art cooling.
Brushless DC coolant pumps, currently available in 12V and 24V, but coming soon in 48V, are the ideal choice for data centre racks requiring a liquid cooling system. With the facility to allow additional control of the coolant rate to manage and maintain what is a narrow temperature range, the pumps ensure maximum battery thermal protection and therefore performance.
All of SPAL’s brushless products are equipped with fully sealed drive units meeting IP6K9K specifications, with a metal housing resistant to corrosion and water ingress. Smart controlled, with CAN, PWM and LIN versions available as well as an HVIL option; the built-in diagnostic and safety features enable the fans and pumps to maintain performance in challenging environmental conditions, while delivering up to 40,000 hours of operation.
If you’re interested in finding out how SPAL can help your operations specifically through advanced thermal management, come along to Stand No. DC746, Data Centre World, 12-13 March 2025 at Excel London.
