Meet the Digital Infrastructure’s Future Workforce at Stand D1120
Don’t miss your opportunity to visit the ALET University Technical Colleges (UTC) & Partners VIP Student Zone, stand D1120 at DCW2024, where you will be able to see how ALET UTCs and the industry partners are working together to tackle the talent shortage, and see how you can be involved in this amazing initiative.
Back for a second year, the VIP Student Zone is not just for students! It’s open to everyone to drop in for a break, have a coffee and a chat. The VIP Student Zone will be a hive of activity throughout the event, as ALET UTC students learn from the event exhibitors and take on challenges across the two days, aided by their Trust Partner employer mentors.
What began as UTC Heathrow & Partners has grown to be ALET UTCs & Partners; the evolution of the initiative continues as more ALET UTCs open, and more companies join as UTC Partners to help design and deliver a curriculum focused on the digital infrastructure industry.
ALET UTCs provide high-quality education that encourages lifelong learning by empowering students with transferrable engineering skills to become responsible engineers to meet the needs of the digital infrastructure industry, today and tomorrow.
At every stage of the evolution of this initiative, ALET and its supporting industry partners, including Amazon Web Services, CyrusOne, CNet Training and LMG, have strived to create a welcoming, supportive environment for students from all backgrounds, that promotes learning, builds confidence, and equips young people with the industry knowledge they need to pursue rewarding careers within the digital infrastructure industry.
Together, ALET UTCs and Partners combine to help attract new talent to the industry, establishing a stronger and more diverse sector, with opportunities for businesses and individuals to thrive and support the wider society. This initiative really is helping to shape the future workforce with 150 students graduating from each UTC per year who are work-ready and armed with the essential awareness and understanding required to succeed in careers in the digital infrastructure industry.
Come along to Stand D1120 to find out how you can get involved in delivering a stronger, more sustainable future for the digital infrastructure industry, help address the industry wide talent shortage and see what it takes to make a real difference to a young person’s digital future!
