Specifically developed for Data Center UPS applications, this latest generation of AGM batteries also serves a broad variety of further applications, including telecommunications as well as commercial and industrial UPS (uninterruptible power supplies). Sprinter Pure Power batteries offer 20 % more power of discharge, providing a low total cost of ownership, combined with a low footprint, efficient charging as well as easy installation and maintenance. It is produced on fully automated manufacturing lines with automated quality controls at each production stage.

As the world is becoming increasingly digital, data centers in particular are experiencing high workloads and need to increase the capacity of their facilities, operating cost-efficiently, and become sustainable to remain competitive. They need a reliable and advanced data security back-up in case of a power outage. The choice of the right battery, which will serve as the data center’s backbone in these cases, is thus most important. The demands on performance and cost savings are high. Sprinter Pure Power batteries are designed to perform in modern data centers, including large-scale colocation and hyperscale facilities. They are made from pure lead electrodes offering high-temperature and corrosion resistance. The battery’s footprint is up to 20 % smaller than the space required by traditional lead-acid batteries, contributing significantly to a lower total cost of ownership.

Sprinter Pure Power batteries are produced on unequalled, fully automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing lines (industry 4.0). Thanks to the completely new production process Sprinter Pure Power batteries are equipped with a new generation of electrodes with increased surface for highest power and best performance. Thin plates guarantee a maximum energy transfer, while the pure lead AGM technology accounts for a very long design life of more than 12 years.
