Thousands of visitors to Data Centre World in March will gain an insight into how UK-based Durata build modular data centres that can be shipped anywhere in the world. For the second year in a row, Teesside’s critical power infrastructure specialists will showcase their services at the ExCel in London on March 6-7.

The vibrant data centre community will head to the capital for an immersive experience at the epicentre of infrastructure advancement, where world-class data centre experts will be speaking. Durata will also be explaining to the largest gathering of industry professionals and end-users how they are having a hugely positive impact on the market at Data Centre World.

John McGee, Durata’s managing director, said: “Durata are back at DCW because it is the industry standard-bearer of events. To be in the mix with counterparts and colleagues from across the world is perfect for Durata. We want to illustrate how we have now got such a strong presence in the market in terms of our growth. We will describe and explain the consistency of our work, the quality of our work and our ability to be a full turnkey service in critical power and infrastructure for our client base. We will be delivering for a second time at the event and we are not intending to stop there as later in the year we are planning our inaugural visits to Frankfurt and Madrid.”

Durata’s 6x7m bespoke exhibition stand – bigger than last year – will have a surprise for visitors. That surprise will perfectly illustrate how the company delivers for clients around the globe.

Year-on-year progress has been made by the Middlesbrough-based company since it was formed ten years ago. In the last 12 months Durata have opened an international office in Frankfurt, Germany, and are in the process of creating an Innovation Centre on Teesside.

Lewis Cobb, the head of modular data centre projects, said: “We want to appeal to data centres of all sizes and we are intending to show that at DCW. “The Durata eco-system will be displayed, we will be encompassing what we do across the business, not just modular – and that will include green technology, meter monitoring, critical power …

“Last year I was one of two new faces at Durata along with Jo Stiles, the head of data centre solutions, and we were something of a remodelled Durata. A year on, this year’s appearance will be about how our experienced Durata team is exploring new opportunities and helping our clients with growing projects. We are now constantly developing our portfolio and taking on projects with a higher complexity around the world. Industry leaders and visitors to our stand at DCW will be able to see and hear examples of that.”
