Chilled Water Packaged Plant Room for Southampton Hospital

This chilled water treatment packaged plant room was recently designed and built by Essco for Southampton Princess Anne Hospital neonatal unit.
The plant room includes the following equipment, which was free issued to us for installation
- 2 Armstrong single head primary flow pumps and primary return pumps
- 2000L chilled buffer vessel
- Combined pressurisation unit, degasser and water make up
- 80L expansion vessel
- 100mm Dirt separator
- 12 4” fully lugged Essco butterfly valves
The finished plant room measures 4.5m wide x 3.5m depth by 3.2m height.
Essco were delighted to supply this prefabricated packaged plant room for the neonatal intensive care unit in Southampton, who do incredible work caring for new born baby's.
The purpose built, state of the art facility is designed to provide babies and their families with a bright, welcoming and spacious environment.
Essco engineers understand the pressures faced when working on site and have successfully project managed many builds to tight schedules.
