Low Voltage Power transmission via Busbar

Utilising busbar in buildings can offer many benefits over the use of cables. Compact installations, visually pleasing and easy erection are also benefits of using busbar as the busbar is sectional. Cables once installed cannot be changed and joints are not popular. But Busbar can be plugged into, and cables added and removed during the lifetime of busbar. Copper cables are covered in PVC which is an insulator. Busbars are clad in metal which is a heat sink and suspension system which allows conductors to dissipate heat more easily than cables. Busbars can also be deployed to survive 1200°C under fire conditions where cables will combust.
