Combining the benefits of on-site construction for large data halls and speed and quality of complex prefab power rooms or whitespace superstructure, hyperscalers and colo providers were able to  build new capacity rapidly and at scale. With the burst in demand for AI computing, commanding higher rack densities and a different cooling approach, are full modular prefab datacenters becoming a new industry building block? Smaller, denser footprint, integration of liquid cooling and the always present need for rapid deployment makes prefab modular a strong option. How can prefab support our journey to Net Zero?
