Securing Power Connections for new Data Centre Developments with certainty.

Brian Moorhead, Grid Consultancy Director at eSmart Networks, will be providing an update around power capacity on the UK’s grid, along with expert advice on securing power and getting connected with increased certainty. He will walk through how we can "think smarter" when getting connected, as well as having better visibility and understanding of connection options, risks, timescales and costs at a project's outset. 

eSmart Networks provide a UK-wide 'one-stop-shop' for grid connections and are currently working on Gigawatts of projects across the UK. They begin by identifying and securing grid capacity at their client’s initial project conception stage, and then continue this through to the design and build stage of new grid connections (up to 132kV across the UK).
