More visitors, more exhibitors, more sessions, more business.

Data Centre World Conference and Expo 2011 was again bigger and better than the previous year and showed that the data centre market in the UK is still buoyant despite the economic uncertainty.

The UK’s largest event for the server room and data centre goes from strength to strength.   Launched in 2008 at the Barbican the event outgrew its original venue and moved to Olympia this year.  It took place on 2-3 March and was a resounding success with visitors and exhibitors alike endorsing the move.

Data Centre World 2011 attracted more than 3,300 attendees and 130 exhibitors over the 2 days in March.
The visitors to the show were impressed by the variety of stands, quality of the speakers and panel sessions, plus the effort that all the exhibitors had put in to make visiting the exhibition a worthwhile exercise.  
 
One of the great things about Data Centre World is that it is free to enter for visitors yet still provides high quality content at its conference. There was 40% more conference content this year covering issues relating to infrastructure, facilities, management, IT, virtualisation and the Cloud. 
 
More than 50 exhibitors have already signed up for next year’s event, which promises to be even bigger.
