Data Centre World VisitorLSI to Exhibit Storage Solutions that Unlock Application Acceleration and Reduce TCO
BRACKNELL, UK, January 31, 2012 – LSI Corporation (NYSE: LSI), a provider of semiconductors and software designed to accelerate storage and networking in data centres and mobile networks, will be showcasing its latest enterprise flash solutions at Data Centre World. The event takes place at London Olympia, 29th February to 1st March 2012.
Visitors to the LSI stand (E80) will be able to experience a real-time acceleration demonstration showing the radical improvement in application performance that can be gained by using LSI® next-generation caching hardware and software.
LSI application acceleration solutions use caching technology to deliver up to 6x more transactions per second and 30x better latency, making them ideal for databases and other transaction-intensive application environments.
Now in its fifth year the UK’s largest dedicated data centre event, is set to surpass last year’s record attendance of almost 3,000 visitors by 15%.
“The continuing growth in data driven by smartphones, tablets and cloud-based services is taxing today’s infrastructure and changing how data centres are built. Networking and storage solutions that deliver greater intelligence, flexibility and performance while accelerating applications are key to the next generation of data centres. Data Centre World provides an excellent platform for everyone to discuss the latest technologies, as well as the tools and knowledge they are implementing to drive data centres forward,” said Thomas Pavel, Director Channel Sales EMEA.
