Complete Fibre Cabling Systems from CMS plc

CMS plc offers end to end Fibre Optic Structured Cabling Systems using Corning cables, connectivity and cable management products.

The Corning Multi Purpose Cable can be used for indoor or outdoor environments, is available in 12 or 24 core options and to OM2, OM3 OM4 and OS2 performance levels. This cable is ideal for low fibre-count applications and is suitable for direct termination of connectors. For higher fibre count installations where fusion splicing is required, the new gel-free FREEDM™ cable is designed for use indoors or outdoors in ducts or risers. This 12 core cable is available to OM2, OM3, OM4 and OS2 performance levels. The cable is quick to install, clean and minimises onsite waste.

These riser cables can be connected at the comms room via splice kits or fan- out cables using either 19 inch 1U patch panels or the CCH housing units which come in 1U through to 4U versions. The LANSCAPE® LANS 1U patch panel tilts and slides to ease cable installation and dressing and can be configured by the user as required.

It will accept copper or fibre modules making it both versatile and cost effective. Corning connectors and adaptor modules are available in SC and LC versions and a variety of cable management and labelling products can be used to complete the system installation.
