CAREL’s solutions for data centres include Direct & Indirect Evaporative cooling to assist in providing additional “free cooling” for air side economiser designs and comprehensive control solutions optimised for “Free Cooling” low energy control of air handling plant.
Using CAREL’s humiFog multizone direct & indirect adiabatic cooling system located inside air handling equipment can save up to 98% Vs traditional mechanical cooling. Using an airside economiser design with adiabatic cooling can reduce the Data Centre requirement for mechanical cooling by more than 95% in some cases.
A further advantage of the adiabatic cooling system is that it can be utilised as an ultra low energy humidifier to increase the humidity level to maintain acceptable limits recommended by bodies such as ASHRAE & CIBSE.
