Data Centre World VisitorSecuring the benefits of decentralized energy in IT
Register free to attend this session
The conventional model for delivering data centre infrastructure is evolving. As technology develops, customers increasingly demand extreme levels of resilience, and energy prices continue to rise, it’s time to make a radical change to establish a new economic model that enhances resilience, mitigates risk and delivers a carbon benefit.
For new data centers, or those about to invest in upgrades, there is now an alternative approach that can improve resilience while bringing costs under control, sharing risk and shrinking carbon footprints. To achieve this, the primary energy load is switched from the grid to on-site low carbon generation. The on-site generation facilities deploy low-carbon technologies used widely in the decentralised energy industry.
