As our applications, our data and our business tools move into Hybrid Cloud Environments the ability to test the performance becomes more critical than when the datacentre was down stairs in the basement! This presentation looks at why test has become the ultimate competitive business tool, and discusses the new challenges in testing in remote environments, it looks at tools and methods all of which have had to change, and many of which are still a dark art to the IT traditionalist, whom we hope to enlighten with this presentation.

Job title: Director Enterprise, EMEA

As Director of Enterprise EMEA, Daryl is responsible for the development of Spirent’s Enterprise business across EMEA.  With key customers in all of the major segments, it falls to Daryl and the team to continue the double digit growth in revenues.

Daryl joined Spirent Communications in 2004 as Business Manager to lead Spirent’s thinking and activity in the emerging Enterprise market. He joined from InterNetwork AG where he was the Business Development Manger EMEA a role in a start up environment with technology derived for the Deutscher Telecom lab at ULM. Daryl’s earlier career was spent in a number of Telecommunications and Electronics Companies, which  contributed over the years, to his extensive industry business knowledge and business expertise.

A keen Microlight pilot & Property Investor, Daryl is currently Chairman, Havant Landlords Group. Daryl also spends time mentor’s young offenders in helping them to start businesses in order to break the reoffending cycle.
