TOPIC: Cabling Solutions for The Data Centre of the Future Chris has recently joined Tyco Electronics as Client Solution Manager. Focusing on the full technology and product design requirements for the top Global companies.
Prior to joining Tyco Electronics Chris worked for the worlds leading IT Consultancy as an Infrastructure Consultant, advising clients on Infrastructure Technologies and providing full design and technical appraisal for some of the largest projects and clients in the industry.
Chris has worked previously for the AMP NETCONNECT division of Tyco Electronics for over six years in a number of technical roles. He achieved the position of Product Manager for copper-based cabling systems within the EMEA region, which provided him first hand experience in the evolving performance issues facing the industry. He has qualified at the highest level of the industry as a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer / Network Transport Specialist. Immediately prior to this role, Chris worked within the UK and Ireland organization as System Design Manager, responsible for the specification and design of cabling infrastructures for customer projects to support a wide range of voice and data applications. Chris joined as systems integrator in the telecommunications industry nine years ago from an electrical engineering company. During this time he has experienced the data and telecommunication evolution which has given him valuable insight and knowledge.
