TOPIC: The Contribution of Cabling to Maximise Efficient Energy

Barry started his career in the world of communications engineering where he worked at Heathrow Airport before becoming a fibre optic specialist in BICC Cables and then Brand-Rex cabling.

Barry became involved in building services engineering when he became Director of Training for Novar plc and then Honeywell Inc. Two years ago Barry set up his own design company Capitalonline specialising in low energy computer rooms and data centres. Barry is also technical consultant to Connectix Cabling Systems .

Barry is one of the few people in the UK to be a chartered engineer in two disciplines, electrical (IET) and building services engineering (CIBSE). Barry has written several books on engineering and holds patents in fire detection technology.
